This is Part 1 in a 3-part series where I use a story about helping salamanders cross the road and how it relates to disrupting choice and a path when it comes to support and caregivers while on a metastatic breast cancer journey.
I wondered if by being the helper of others all of the time, picking them up and carrying them along is helpful or disrupts their own path and process of choosing.
The first step in choosing a path is to first go inward to figure out which option you want and then create a network that supports you in that choice.
I will discuss what this looks like more in the next part of this series.
